What can I expect from a Career Health Check?
You will receive confidential, independent guidance delivered by an experienced EGSA adviser.
- It’s your Career Health Check – you make the decisions about your next steps
- The Career Health Check is the start of a process – the EGSA adviser will work with you, helping you to explore, assess and reflect on your options
- Be prepared to be challenged – you should be ready to discuss your motivation, priorities and any barriers to moving forward
- Where appropriate, the adviser will signpost you to relevant sources of information and useful contacts – you will need to carry out any follow up research
- Where appropriate, the adviser will provide practical help and advice with job search skills – you will need to provide any specific job or career information.
How much does it cost?
A consultation costs £45 and normally lasts for 1 hour.
